Edition 2025 — Friseddhe, Purpette and Wine Festival

The 2025 edition of the Friseddhe, Purpette and Wine Festival took place on July 19 and 20, 2025, in Piazza Diaz, Sogliano Cavour, in the province of Lecce. Two evenings dedicated to the flavors of Salento tradition, with food stalls serving frise, meatballs, and local wine, enlivened by live music and the convivial atmosphere of Salento village festivals.

Friseddhe, Purpette and Wine Festival 2025

The Friseddhe, Purpette and Wine Festival returned to Sogliano Cavour on July 19 and 20, 2025, confirming the traditional summer appointment in the town center, in Piazza Diaz. Over the two evenings, the food stalls offered frise topped with tomato and oil, traditional peasant-style meatballs, and Salento wine, accompanied by live music and the rhythms of the pizzica. The event, with free admission, attracted residents and visitors to the heart of the Grecìa Salentina, in the province of Lecce.
