Edition 2025 — Fringe Catania Off

The fourth edition of Fringe Catania Off took place from October 16 to 26, 2025, spread over two weekends (October 16-19 and 23-26). The line-up included 61 shows, 16 of which were international, with 272 performances distributed across 12 venues in Catania and 2 in Mascalucia. The Village Off at Pavilion E6 of Le Ciminiere was the heart of the event, while the opening, "Catania IN", was held on October 14 at the Teatro Ambasciatori.

Fringe Catania Off 2025

The fourth edition of Fringe Catania Off was held from October 16 to 26, 2025, spread over two long weekends (October 16-19 and 23-26). The festival brought 61 shows to Catania and Mascalucia, including 16 international productions, for a total of 272 performances distributed across 14 venues, including theatres and performance spaces: Cut, Sala Hernandez, Piazza Scammacca, Palazzo Scammacca del Murgo, Teatro Vitaliano Brancati, Zo Centro Culture Contemporanee, Teatro Sala De Curtis, Piccolo Teatro della Città, Fabbricateatro, Tinni Tinni Arts Club, and others.

The Village Off, set up in Pavilion E6 of the Le Ciminiere Exhibition Centre and operational from October 15 to 26, hosted the Fringe Academy, exhibitions, talks, and the Village nights. The opening evening "Catania IN", on October 14 at the Teatro Ambasciatori, featured Matthias Martelli in an adaptation of Dario Fo. Initiatives also included the "Off dell'Off" with over 200 students and the "Student in the Jury" project.
