Edition 2025 — Friendship & Solidarity Days
The first edition in Carmiano
The inaugural edition of the Friendship & Solidarity Days came to life in Carmiano (Lecce) in July 2025, on the initiative of the Carmiano Nostra association, in memory of Prof. Trentino Giovanni Mazzotta. The event offered an evening of scientific outreach and culture, with a conference dedicated to prevention and the testimony of AIL, presented by councilor Gina Quarta, and a musical evening with the Gran Tenzone Carmianese – Song Contest.
The social value of the event was realized through the donation of a significant contribution to AIL Lecce (Italian Association against Leukemia), supporting the work carried out for onco-hematological patients in the province of Lecce. A debut that laid the foundations for an event destined to be renewed over the years, rooting itself in the solidarity fabric of Salento and Puglia.
