Friends of the Nativity Scene City Competition

The ninth edition of the "Amici del Presepe" City Competition took place in Niscemi (CL) during the 2024-2025 Christmas period, confirming the strength of an event promoted by the Municipality together with the Pro Loco Niscemi APS and the "Amici della Musica" Cultural Association. Open to individual citizens, schools, associations, and parishes, the competition invited participants to create handmade nativity scenes and submit three photographs from different angles.

Registration closed on December 26, 2024, and the jury examined the works, evaluating craftsmanship, artistic content, technical difficulty, and religious and spiritual dimensions. The awards ceremony was held on January 12, 2025, at 8:00 PM, in the conference hall of the "Mario Gori" Municipal Library, with certificates for all participants and prizes for the top three classified nativity scenes.
