Edition 2025 — Fried Squid Festival

The 22nd edition of the Fried Squid Festival took place in Bientina over four weekends, from July 5th to 27th, 2025, every Saturday and Sunday evening from 7:00 PM at the Sports Field. The star was the fried squid, along with a rich seafood menu.

In 2025, the Fried Squid Festival in Bientina reached its 22nd edition, spread over four weekends in July: 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27. The dining area at the Sports Field was active every Saturday and Sunday evening from 7:00 PM, with outdoor spaces and covered areas in case of bad weather.

The menu featured fried squid as the main specialty, along with seafood platters, seafood risotto, scampi pasta, grilled king prawns, and Livorno-style salt cod, in addition to grilled meats and pizzas. Free five-a-side football pitches were available for children, confirming the family-friendly nature of the event organized by A.S.D. Sextum Bientina.
