Edition 2025 — Freedom Fair

In 2025, the Freedom Fair in Pieve Fosciana took place on Sunday, April 27 and Monday, April 28, on the Sunday after Easter. The grand spring fair, featuring a market, livestock exhibition, and funfair, was joined by the religious feast of the Most Holy Annunciation, with the celebration of couples marking their silver, golden, and diamond wedding anniversaries during the local Mass.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Freedom Fair was held in Pieve Fosciana on Sunday, April 27 and Monday, April 28, on the Sunday after Easter. The Garfagnana village hosted the traditional spring fair with a market, food stands, a livestock exhibition of local breeds, and a funfair for families.

The civic and historical dimension, linked to the 1369 liberation of Lucca from the Pisans, was accompanied by the religious feast of the Most Holy Annunciation: on April 28, during Mass, the village couples celebrating their silver, golden, and diamond wedding anniversaries were honored, creating a moment of strong cohesion for the local community.
