Frate Festival and Colombina Launch

In 2025, the Frate Festival and Colombina Launch reached the milestone of its 44th edition, confirming the end-of-summer appointment organized by the Contrada San Nicolao in the village of Vagliaio, in Buti (PI). That year too, the protagonists were the frati, the fried and sugar-coated donuts typical of the town, available from 5:30 PM, and dinner with traditional Buti dishes starting from 8:00 PM.

On Sunday, the festival concluded with the Colombina Launch, the rocket on a wire that flies between the houses of the district as a good omen for the Palio di Buti. Free admission.
