Edition 2025 — Frantoi Aperti

The third edition of Frantoi Aperti took place in Melendugno in July 2025, transforming the underground olive mills into art spaces with four weekends of exhibitions, music, and performances with free admission.

Frantoi Aperti 2025

The third edition, part of the Blu Festival of the Municipality of Melendugno, brought the underground olive mills of Salento to life throughout July 2025. In the San Francesco underground mill, the exhibition «Oro come luce divina» by artist Tarshito (Nicola Strippoli) presented gilded ceramic sculptures dedicated to the spirituality of world cultures (July 5-6, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27, 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM). In the underground mill on Via San Niceta, from July 29 to 31, «Odissea Palestina» by Salvatore Grillo. Special performances included «Battiti d'oro» with Japanese Taiko drums on July 5 and «Suoni di Luce e di Silenzio» on July 26. Free admission.
