Franco Enriquez National Festival and Award – City of Sirolo

XXI Edition (2025)

In 2025, the Franco Enriquez National Award – City of Sirolo celebrated its twenty-first edition, under the theme "Madmen of Art and Love". The festival, organized by the Franco Enriquez Study Centre, enlivened the village of Sirolo (Ancona) throughout the summer, with the Cortesi Municipal Theatre as the main stage.

The gala evening on August 30, 2025, presented the edition's awards. Among the lifetime achievement awardees were Anna Teresa Rossini and Giacomo Poretti; for theatrical performances, Elio De Capitani (King Lear), Corrado Tedeschi (The Man with the Flower in His Mouth), and Paola Minaccioni (Elena la Matta) were honored, while the award for emerging talents went to Mauro Lamantia (Gramsci Gay). Awards were also given to Horacio Czertok, Claudio Longhi, Giampiero Beltotto, Federico Mondelci, Norma Martelli, Silvia Colasanti, and the Kepler-452 Company.
