Edition 2025 — Fragments of Antiquity

On August 18, 2025, Bagnoli del Trigno hosted Fragments of Antiquity for the Saint Catherine's Feast, with the Duke's procession and nobles from the castle, election of the podestà with beans and chickpeas, medieval gastronomy paid for in ducats, and the Flight of the Fairy Trignina at midnight amidst fireworks.

In 2025, the re-enactment Fragments of Antiquity once again brought Bagnoli del Trigno back to the Middle Ages on August 18th. The Duke's procession and the nobles emerged from the castle, the heads of families elected the podestà using the system of beans and chickpeas, and the village came alive with taverns and period crafts, with payments in ducats. At midnight, the customary Flight of the Fairy Trignina concluded the festival, accompanied by a fireworks display.
