Edition 2025 — 4 Steps into the Middle Ages
In 2025, Quattro Passi nel Medioevo enlivened the park of the Castello dei Ronchi in Crevalcore (Bologna) on May 3rd and 4th. The event, organized by the association I Sempar in baraca and the Pro Loco, offered the usual re-enactment set in the late 14th century: medieval encampment, artisan market, combat, archery, music, and theatre. The heart of the event was the re-enactment of the 1390 battle between the army of Alberico da Barbiano and the Visconti forces, with two afternoon performances. The gastronomic stand and the tavern offered medieval dishes and Emilian cuisine, from fried gnocco to hippocras, always with free admission.
