Edition 2025 — Fornaci without Borders

The 2025 edition marked the birth of Fornaci without Borders, the challenge between the four districts of Fornaci di Barga. Caterozzo, Case Operaie, Fornaci Vecchia, and Centro faced each other in tournaments and games, including football, volleyball, lighthearted contests, and social evenings. A first year welcomed with great enthusiasm by the community, filling the town with team spirit and togetherness, laying the foundations for future editions.

The first edition of Fornaci without Borders, in 2025, transformed Fornaci di Barga into a large collective playground, with the town's four districts engaged in a long challenge consisting of tournaments, contests, and festive moments. The initiative, born from the commitment of the sports club, the parish, and numerous volunteers, met with immediate success, so much so that it was described as a "huge success" and prompted the organizers to repeat and expand it the following year.

Between team games, lighthearted contests, and social evenings, the inaugural edition managed to involve all generations of the Barga hamlet, laying the foundations for what has quickly become one of the most anticipated summer festivals in the Serchio Valley.
