In February 2025, the village of Formigliana in the province of Vercelli renewed its Carnival tradition, one of the most cherished festivals for the local community. Masks, confetti, joy, and convivial moments enlivened the streets of the historic center, with the customary fagiolata taking center stage, in accordance with the most authentic local peasant tradition.

This edition confirmed the tradition of a family-friendly and genuine Carnival, an expression of the rural identity of the Bassa Vercellese and the widespread calendar of Piedmontese villages in masks.
