Formigine Carnival of the Kids

67th Edition — February 27 / March 4, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Formigine Carnival of the Kids saw approximately 2,470-2,500 participants registered for the masked parade. The parades took place on Sunday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, in the historic center and Piazza Calcagnini.

All local hamlets worked on building the allegorical floats, accompanied by folklore groups, marching bands, and local masks—the Pavironica Family and the Zingaraja—along with Radio Bruno's La Strana Coppia and the marching band of the Carlo Sigonio Institute. There were also typical tastings (cod fritters, cherseinta, gramigna with sausage, polenta, maccheroni with ragù), activities at the Castle, and the final award ceremony on Fat Tuesday, featuring a bubble show by Alekos.
