Edition 2025 — Foresta Maestra
The third edition of Foresta Maestra was held on the weekends of August 29, 30, and 31 and September 6 and 7, 2025. The opening, on Friday, August 29, took place in Florence at the Church of Santa Trinita with a public meeting dedicated to the role of the forest in rethinking the Florentine ecological area. The Foresta Maestra Music Fest took place on the Vallombrosa meadow, featuring singer-songwriter music and meetings in nature. On Sunday, August 31, the BabboBike VallombrosaTrail cycling rally was held, accompanied by botanical walks to the Shepherd's Beech, herbal workshops, and visits to the Experimental Arboretum. On September 6, the festival moved between Vallombrosa and Reggello for trekking in the historic parks of Acquabella and Sammezzano.
