Forest and Emigrant Festival

The 2025 edition, the 41st of the event, was held on Sunday, August 17, and Monday, August 18, 2025, in the woods of Montemarano, organized by the Pro Montemarano Association. As per tradition, the festival began at lunchtime with the opening of food stalls dedicated to typical Montemarano dishes, continuing throughout the day and late into the night.

The musical program featured Battista with live folk music on the evening of August 17 and the Achille Orchestra on the 18th; both evenings concluded with a DJ set from 11:30 PM. At the heart of the edition, as always, was the bond between the community and the many Montemarano natives who emigrated abroad and return to the town during the summer: an emotional bridge between past and present built on music, typical flavors, and collective memory, in a natural setting among the oak groves of Irpinia.
