Edition 2025 — Fora l'Ours

In 2025, the Fora l'Ours once again attracted numerous visitors from across the Susa Valley to Urbiano di Mompantero. The three-day format was confirmed, featuring the Bear Hunt for children, the Mingia e Beiva food and wine tour, Mass at Saint Brigid, and the central ritual of the Bear Dance, a symbol of winter's retreat and the anticipation of spring at the foot of Mount Rocciamelone.

The 2025 edition of the Fora l'Ours brought the ancient Alpine bear ritual back to Urbiano di Mompantero, in the upper Susa Valley. The festival was structured, as is tradition, over three days: the Bear Hunt for the little ones, the Mingia e Beiva food and wine feast, and on Sunday, Mass in the chapel of Saint Brigid followed by the parade with the band and the famous Bear Dance. On that occasion too, the village was enlivened by music, local flavors, and folklore, in an event organized by the Pro Loco Mompantero with the support of local associations.
