For Saint Martin, Every Must Becomes Wine

The sixteenth edition of For Saint Martin, Every Must Becomes Wine was held in Blera, in the Province of Viterbo, from Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9, 2025. Organized by the Pro Loco of Blera, the event opened nine characteristic cellars carved into the tuff of the historic center, with dinners starting at 7:00 PM on Friday and lunches and dinners throughout the weekend.

The program combined the discovery of local flavors — Blera oil, scorzone truffle, and Maremmana beef — with walks to the Etruscan necropolises of Pian del Vescovo and Grotte Penta, featuring reconstructions of funerary goods and historical re-enactments in costume. In Piazza dei Papi, the marquee offered grilled meat, bruschetta, and mulled wine, while street performers and musical groups enlivened the village alleys.
