Follonica Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Follonica Carnival, the 58th, brought four parades to the seafront on the Sundays of February 2, 9, and 16 (starting at 2:30 PM) and on the final day, Saturday, February 22. Eight districts took part in the masked processions: Cassarello, Capannino, 167 Ovest, Pratoranieri, Senzuno, Centro, Chiesa, and Zona Nuova. During the parades, the Carnival Queen was elected, and on the third Sunday, the jury decreed the best mask and the winning float. The grand finale on February 22 closed the event with the awards ceremony and a fireworks display, confirming the Follonica Carnival as one of the most attended winter festivals on the Maremma coast, in the Municipality of Follonica in the province of Grosseto.
