Edition 2025 — Folklore Weekend

The 4th edition of the Folklore Weekend took place on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Santa Maria Maggiore. The weekend brought over 400 participants in traditional costume to the streets of the Vigezzo village, with groups arriving from all over Northern Italy and nearby Switzerland for the grand Sunday parade, the heart of the event.

The 2025 edition of the Folklore Weekend, the fourth of the event, was held on June 28 and 29 in Santa Maria Maggiore, in Valle Vigezzo. On Saturday the 28th, from 10:00 AM, members of the Gruppo Folkloristico Valle Vigezzo enlivened the streets of the center in traditional attire with a flash mob, followed by the inauguration of an exhibition at the Casa del Profumo Feminis-Farina. The evening concluded in the Villa Antonia Park with a performance by the Folk Group "Federico Angelica" from Aviano. The heart of the event was the grand Sunday morning parade, with over 400 participants in costume filling the village streets, accompanied by the valley's brass bands.
