Edition 2025 — Folkest Gemona
In 2025, Folkest once again traversed Friuli Venezia Giulia with its folk and world music program, bringing international concerts and artists to the region's villages, following the tradition of the festival born after the 1976 earthquake.
In the summer of 2025, Folkest confirmed its traveling format, animating numerous locations in Friuli Venezia Giulia with folk and world music concerts. Gemona del Friuli, a symbolic city of post-earthquake rebirth, has for years been among the most significant venues of the festival, which continues to celebrate cultural encounters and the memory of the 1976 earthquake through music.
