Edition 2025 — Pitta Rustica Festival

In the summer of 2025, Castrignano de' Greci renewed its Folk Music and Pitta Rustica Festival, confirming an event that the Pro Loco has been hosting since 1996. During the July evenings, the historic center came alive with pitta rustica stalls, Salento cuisine, and folk music and pizzica concerts, attracting visitors from across the Province of Lecce.

The 2025 edition of the Folk Music and Pitta Rustica Festival confirmed the formula that made the Castrignano de' Greci event famous: pitta rustica, a potato focaccia topped with onions, black olives, tomato, capers, and anchovies, served at the Pro Loco stalls alongside other typical Salento dishes.

In the squares of the historic center, concerts of folk music, pizzica groups, and entertainment moments alternated, creating a festive atmosphere that engaged families and visitors. An edition marked by the gastronomic and musical tradition of Grecìa Salentina, with free admission.
