Foligno Dance Festival

The fifth edition of the Foligno Dance Festival took place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, between the Auditorium San Domenico, the Sala del Crocifisso, and the Teatro San Carlo in Foligno, under the artistic direction of Alessandro Rende.

The opening evening "Serata Coreografe" featured contemporary choreographers such as Sofia Nappi, Roberta Ferrara, Sara Buratti, and Glenda Gheller, with the debut of the Piccoli Prodigi Ensemble. Among the guests were stars Silvia Azzoni and Oleksandr Ryabko (Hamburg Ballet), Rebecca Bianchi (Teatro dell'Opera di Roma), Timoor Afshar (Vienna State Ballet), and Rachele Buriassi. The festival also presented the international awards gala, courses in classical, contemporary, and character dance, auditions, and a special choreographic workshop with choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti.
