Edition 2025 — Focara of Serranova

The ninth edition of the Focara of Serranova was held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM in the village of Carovigno. The St. Anthony Abbot fire ritual, included in the "Christmas in Carovigno" program, featured the large propitiatory bonfire along with music, food, and street performer shows, in a free evening dedicated to tradition and hospitality.

The ninth edition of the Focara of Serranova took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, in the village of Serranova, a hamlet of Carovigno (BR). The event, included in the "Christmas in Carovigno" calendar as its concluding appointment, celebrated the traditional fire ritual of St. Anthony Abbot.

The evening combined the great bonfire of the focara with music, street food, and street performer shows, in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality open to the entire community. The event, with free admission, was organized by the Associazione Effetto Serranova with the patronage of the Municipality of Carovigno, celebrating the tradition of fire and the hospitality typical of the Salento Antonian rites.
