Focaccia in the Caves 2025

The fourth edition took place on May 7 and 8, 2025, along the Calata San Michele delle Grotte, in the Rione Fondovito of Gravina in Puglia, starting at 7:00 PM with free admission. Local bakeries offered traditional focaccia and Verdeca wine, with all proceeds donated to the Church of Sant'Agostino and the cathedral chapter.

The culinary event was part of the broader program of the feast of San Michele delle Grotte: holy masses at the steps of the Calata, a procession with city authorities, folk performances, and the Spring Concert, in a two-day event that combined devotion, tradition, and the flavors of the Murgia.
