Flower Festival

The 2025 edition of the Flower Festival was held on Friday, April 25, in the historic center of Castel del Rio, Province of Bologna. As tradition dictates, the village in the upper Santerno Valley came alive with one of the largest flower markets in the Apennines: plants and flowers offered directly by producers, artisan creations, and local products.

The day offered artistic themed workshops for children and educational games dedicated to nature, in addition to local gastronomy among restaurants and food trucks. The festival took place concurrently with the Liberation Day celebrations, with the laying of laurel wreaths. The edition saw a higher number of exhibitor registrations than in previous years.
