Flower Carpet Festival of the Corpus Domini of Pievepelago

The 2025 Flower Carpet Festival of the Corpus Domini of Pievepelago was held on Sunday, June 22, in the center of the village in the Modenese Apennines. Along the ancient Via Tamburù and the nearby Piazza Ricci, 25 colorful floral carpets were created, works that up close looked like real paintings made with petals.

The dominant theme was the Jubilee, under the banner of "Pilgrims of hope," accompanied by tributes to Pope Francis and a strong call for peace in the world. The day, which culminated in the solemn noon procession, was marked by the moving remembrance of Loretta Adani, historic president of the Pievepelago Pro Loco, who passed away the previous day.
