Floridia Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Floridia Carnival took place in the town from 27 February to 4 March, with events spread over several days. It opened on Thursday, 27 February, with the traditional Shrove Thursday parade of nursery and primary school children, accompanied in Piazza del Popolo by the street art show "Manco un cane!" featuring juggling and balancing acts.

Friday, 28 February, was dedicated to "Carnevale 'o Chianu Carminu", featuring food stalls, performances, and music by Italoduo. On Saturday, 1 March, there was entertainment for children with the "Luna Park Carnevalesco" and, in the evening, the "Carnival Party" with DJ Pierluigi Giacoia and the M2O Party with DJ Hellen and Lucia De Luca. On Sunday, 2 March, from 3:30 PM, the grand parade of allegorical floats and masked groups took place, followed in the evening by the Carnival Party with Leonardo Messina. The event confirmed its role as a major attraction for visitors from across the province of Syracuse.
