Edition 2025 — Florentine Week

The fourth edition of the Florentine Week took place in Florence from March 24th to 30th, 2025, with over 200 events for the Florentine New Year on March 25th. The edition was dedicated to Florentine identity and its symbols, the red lily and the Marzocco, which became the mascot of the event thanks to designer Sandro Cleuzo.

The fourth edition (2025) of the Florentine Week offered over 200 events from March 24th to 30th, including guided tours, walks, fairs, markets, and shows promoted by the Municipality of Florence.

On Tuesday, March 25th, the feast of the Annunciation and Florentine New Year, the Historical Pageant of the Florentine Republic arrived at 4:00 PM in Piazza Santissima Annunziata, after parading from the Palagio di Parte Guelfa. For the first time, the city also celebrated "New Year's Eve in the Square", from 9:00 PM at the Arco di San Pierino. During the week, historic gates and the David at Piazzale Michelangelo were illuminated in red.
