Edition 2025 — FLIP

To celebrate its first five years, FLIP changed its look: in 2025, the Independent Literature Festival of Pomigliano d'Arco moved from early September to late June and expanded to four full days, from June 26 to 29, preceded by a Pre-FLIP on Wednesday, June 18. The edition's compass word: "Explorations." The venue was confirmed as the Giovanni Paolo II public park, with all meetings free to attend.

FLIP 2025: five years and "Explorations"

The fifth edition of the festival, held from June 26 to 29, 2025, in the Giovanni Paolo II public park of Pomigliano d'Arco, marked a double change: the shift to late June and the permanent move to four days, preceded by a Pre-FLIP on June 18. The theme chosen by the artistic direction of Eduardo Savarese, together with the Wojtek bookstore, Mio nonno è Michelangelo, and Una banda di cefali, was "Explorations".

The international program brought to Campania Ioana Pârvulescu from Romania, Naja Marie Aidt from Denmark, Noo Saro-Wiwa from England and Nigeria, Brenda Navarro from Mexico, Radoslav Bimbalov from Bulgaria, and Kim Sang-Keun from Korea. Among the most popular Italian events were the meeting between writer Antonio Moresco, guest of honor, and musician Giovanni Truppi, as well as the presence of Wanda Marasco.

The days followed the usual formula: mornings for children and young adults, afternoons of presentations and round tables on independent publishing, evenings with main guests, and, from 10 PM to midnight, Vinyl Selection parties with different musical selections each night. Around the stage, the village featured stands from publishers, local associations, and refreshment areas. All meetings were free and open to the public.
