Edition 2025 — Flavours of the Ancient Village
The eighth edition of "Sapori dell'Antico Borgo" was held in Rodi Garganico on September 4, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM, in the charming ancient seaside village. As per tradition, the historic centre came alive with a tasting trail of typical Gargano dishes, accompanied by the music and dances of local folk groups.
The event, organised by the R.O.D.I. Association, confirmed its role as a key identity-building appointment for the village, dedicated to the rediscovery of the culinary and cultural traditions of the Gargano.
Programme
The evening of the 8th edition opened at 7:30 PM in the seaside village, with the food and wine itinerary through the historic centre's alleys and performances by Gargano folk groups.
The 2025 edition featured:
- I Tarantolati (San Giovanni Rotondo)
- I Cantori di Civitate (San Paolo di Civitate)
- I Podolici (San Nicandro Garganico)
- Suoni e canti della Tradizione (Monte Sant'Angelo and Cagnano Varano)
- Li Chiar d' luna (San Giovanni Rotondo)
- Gargano Folk (San Nicandro Garganico, Lesina, San Giovanni Rotondo)
