Edition 2025 — FLAG Festival
FLAG 2025: "C'entriamo tuttə"
The sixth edition of FLAG - Queer Culture Festival was held from September 12 to 14, 2025, at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Rome, with free admission. The chosen theme, "C'entriamo tuttə. Alla scoperta delle identità, delle storie e delle vite di ognuno di noi" (We all fit in. Discovering the identities, stories, and lives of each of us), ran through all three evenings.
The program focused on specific issues: inclusion and migration, reflecting on the shared experience of exclusion and invisibility between migrant and queer bodies; memory and rights, twenty-five years after the Rome World Pride 2000, to take stock of what has been achieved and what is still missing; and end-of-life care and self-determination, addressed in terms of dignity and freedom of choice. Among the announced guests were writer Teresa Ciabatti, journalist Francesco Lepore, the Luca Coscioni Association, and Open Arms.
Three days of meetings, debates, literature, films, and DJ sets in the square's gardens, as part of the summer film festival hosted in the Esquilino district, confirming the free and open-to-the-city formula.
