Edition 2025 — Fishermen's Festival
The 2025 Fishermen's Festival brought Villafranca Piemonte to life from September 26 to 30, with the official ribbon-cutting on Saturday, September 27 at 5 PM at the former Monastery, the investiture of the new Pescadoira, and the awards ceremony for the photography contest.
Highlights included: the grand fried seafood platter and the opening of the Fish Stall on Via San Francesco, fish dinners with a fireworks display over the Po, bocce tournaments, the livestock fair with a cattle show, the vintage tractor rally and Moto Day, the reconstruction of the historic "Vijà" farmhouse, markets, exhibitions, and musical evenings. On Sunday, the main day, admission was 5 euros.
The event was organized by the Municipal Administration with the RistoPalatenda staff, the Fish Stall, the Pro Loco, local associations, neighborhood committees, and the Municipal Civil Protection Group.
