The 2025 edition
From August 8th to 10th, 2025, the Fisherman's Quarter of Marta (province of Viterbo, Lazio) hosted three days of festivities on the Via Amalasunta lakefront. Stands were open every evening from 7:00 PM, with lunch service added on Sunday, August 10th, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
The menu confirmed the usual selection: whitefish cream and fillet, whitefish in Marta-style red "acquapazza" sauce, fisherman's pasta with whitefish, perch, and pike, "lake flower" mixed fry, fries, watermelon, and dessert. Among the evenings, the most photographed moment was the fireworks display on the evening of August 9th, recovered from the patronal feast of Santa Marta after being postponed due to bad weather.
The organization was handled by the "Alberto Lisoni" Cultural Circle with the local fishermen and fishmongers, in an area set up with Etruscan boats pulled ashore and traditional fishing gear.
