Edition 2025 — Fish Festival

During the summer of 2025, Porto Empedocle once again celebrated its Fish Festival, reaffirming the tradition that binds the town to the sea and fishing. Along the seafront, the events dedicated to maritime gastronomy and the Sagra della Padellata were renewed, with fried fish offered to the public, accompanied by evenings of music and an atmosphere of popular celebration in the heart of the Agrigento summer.

The 2025 edition of the Porto Empedocle Fish Festival confirmed the strong bond of the town, the Vigàta of Andrea Camilleri, with its maritime identity. Along the seafront, food stalls dedicated to products of the sea and the traditional Sagra della Padellata followed one another, with fried fish offered for free to visitors.

The event, enlivened by music and moments of conviviality, attracted residents and tourists, reiterating the role of the festival as a major popular summer celebration in the province of Agrigento and an opportunity to showcase traditional cuisine and the local fishing culture.
