Edition 2025 — Fish Festival of Borghetto

In 2025, the historic Fish Festival of Borghetto enlivened the hamlet of Tuoro sul Trasimeno with its evening food stands dedicated to lake fish. A festival that involves the entire village, with tegamaccio, perch fillets, and fried Trasimeno catches, in a popular festive atmosphere between Umbria and Tuscany.

In 2025, the Fish Festival of Borghetto once again confirmed its long tradition, enlivening the hamlet of Borghetto in Tuoro sul Trasimeno. During the festival evenings, the food stands offered typical dishes of the lake cuisine of Lake Trasimeno: tegamaccio, perch fillets, queen in porchetta, and fried fish. More than a gastronomic event, the festival has for decades been an identity-defining occasion for the community of Borghetto and the entire Trasimeno area, attracting visitors from Umbria and neighboring Tuscany.
