2025 Fish Festival in Cagnano Varano
The 29th edition of the Fish and Local Products Festival was held on August 13, 2025, in the historic center of Cagnano Varano, on the Gargano. From 6:00 PM, the stalls set up along the village alleys offered seafood specialties and typical products of the Capitanata: lake-and-sea orecchiette, seafood salad, mixed fried fish, mussel pepper soup, grilled fish, pizzarelle, cheeses, and traditional desserts.
The evening was enlivened by musical groups with folk dances and songs, as well as exhibitions of local painting and crafts. At midnight, the fireworks show closed the festival, the proceeds of which, as every year, were donated to work on the town's mother church. The event was organized by the Parish of Santa Maria della Pietà.
