Edition 2025 — Fish & Chips Festival

The 43rd edition of the Fish & Chips Festival took place in Barga from August 1st to 17th, 2025, at the Stadio Comunale Johnny Moscardini on Via Puccini. Every evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the stands served the famous fish and chips according to the Anglo-Barga tradition, along with grilled meats and other specialties, with live music and dancing to close the evening. The formula of charity evenings in support of local organizations was also confirmed.

The 43rd edition of the Fish & Chips Festival brought life to Barga, in the Garfagnana (LU), from August 1st to 17th, 2025, at the Stadio Comunale Johnny Moscardini. For over two weeks, the Pro Loco stands offered the festival's signature dish every evening: fish and chips, the legacy of Barga's emigration to Scotland, alongside grilled meats and local specialties. The evenings, enlivened by live music and a dance floor, attracted numerous visitors, confirming the festival as one of the top summer events for the Municipality of Barga and the entire Serchio Valley.
