Saslong Classic 2025: the 58th edition
The men's Alpine Ski World Cup returned to Val Gardena on December 19 and 20, 2025, for the 58th Saslong Classic, with the Super-G held on Friday and the classic downhill on Saturday on the Saslong slope, starting at Ciampinoi above Selva di Val Gardena and finishing in Santa Cristina.
In the Super-G, the Czech Jan Zabystřan surprised everyone, while in the downhill, the Swiss Franjo von Allmen triumphed, ahead of his compatriot Marco Odermatt. A weekend of great skiing, with enthusiastic support from the public along the slope.
As per tradition, the bib draw and award ceremonies enlivened Selva and Ortisei, in the heart of South Tyrol, confirming the strong bond between the Val Gardena municipalities and one of the most prestigious events in Italian winter sports.
