Edition 2025 — Night of the Fires

The Night of the Fires of Saint Anthony Abbot in Colletorto lights up every January 17th with eight monumental bonfires in the oldest clearings of the village, up to the Angevin Tower. Between the blessing of the embers, pancotto, scarpelle, and pizzica colletortese, it is one of the most evocative fire festivals in lower Molise, capable of attracting thousands of visitors.

The Night of the Fires of Saint Anthony Abbot is one of the most iconic events in Colletorto (CB). Every January 17th, eight large conical bonfires are lit in the oldest clearings of the village, illuminating the hamlet up to the Angevin Tower. The festival, deeply linked to the village's Angevin memory, combines the religious dimension — with the blessing of the embers — with the popular and gastronomic one, featuring pancotto, ferratelle, scarpelle, and the sounds of the pizzica colletortese. A winter ritual that attracts thousands of visitors each year from Termoli, Campobasso, and the entire lower Molise region.
