Edition 2025 — Filuzzi in Piazza

In 2025, Filuzzi in Piazza once again enlivened Bolognese Ferragosto with a grand popular festival of music and dance in Piazza Maggiore. Amidst waltzes, polkas, and mazurkas, the evening celebrated the Filuzzi ballroom tradition with live orchestras, accordions, and archival footage projected on the big screen, confirming the event as one of the city's most beloved summer rituals.

The 2025 Edition

In the summer of 2025, Filuzzi in Piazza brought Bolognese ballroom dancing to Piazza Maggiore for the Ferragosto celebrations, as part of the Bologna Estate program. The free evening, open to all, transformed the Crescentone into a large dance floor, with live performances of hits from the traditional Bolognese repertoire.

Between waltzes, polkas, and mazurkas, the audience danced under the stars while archival images scrolled across the big screen, in a tribute to the city's musical memory created in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna.
