Edition 2025 — Karate Coppa Italia Serie B

In 2025, the FIJLKAM Karate Coppa Italia – Serie B did not yet exist; the event was established in 2026 as a new national competition dedicated to rising athletes. In 2025, the FIJLKAM competitive calendar was structured around the category Italian Championships (the "Serie A" of karate) and federal circuits, from which the idea for a competition reserved for the base of the movement eventually matured.

The FIJLKAM Karate Coppa Italia – Serie B debuted in 2026 and therefore did not have a 2025 edition. Its creation responds to a concrete need that emerged in previous seasons: to offer athletes excluded from the top national rankings a high-level competitive appointment, with WKF regulations and official refereeing. In 2025, the reference point for Cadets, Juniors, Under 21s, Seniors, and Esordienti remained the category Italian Championships, upon which the admission criteria for the new Coppa Italia Serie B are still based today. The choice of the PalaGolfo in Follonica, Tuscany, as the venue for the first edition confirms the Maremma's vocation for hosting major national sporting events.
