Edition 2025 — Fiera te lu Porcu Meu

The 40th edition of the Fiera te lu Porcu Meu took place in Muro Leccese from October 17 to 19, 2025, celebrating forty years of the historic Lower Salento pork festival. Three days of food stalls featuring Salento charcuterie specialties, pizzica and folk music concerts, and the traditional Sunday afternoon Cuccagna. Organized by the La Pastorella association with the patronage of the Municipality, the festival confirmed its popular appeal with free admission.

The 40th edition of the Fiera te lu Porcu Meu, held in Muro Leccese from October 17 to 19, 2025, celebrated forty years of one of the most beloved gastronomic festivals in Salento.

On Friday, October 17, on Via Liborio Riccio, the festival opened with a performance by Criamu and a menu featuring pork stew and porchetta sandwiches. On Saturday, October 18, in the Market Area, the gastronomic village offered boiled meats, grilled dishes, and Salento specialties, while the evening featured performances by Mascarimirì, DDIMURO, and a DJ set by Franza. On Sunday, October 19, after the morning market fair, the Cuccagna took place at 5:30 PM, a collective ritual narrated by Franco Patella, followed in the evening by concerts from No Finger Nail, Salento Son, and Crifiu, with guests including Antonio Amato, Consuelo Alfieri, and Après La Classe. Free admission for all three days.

Friday, October 17 — Via Liborio Riccio: performance by Criamu; menu with pork stew and porchetta sandwiches. Saturday, October 18 — Market Area: gastronomic village with boiled meats, grilled dishes, and Salento specialties; 9:00 PM concerts by Mascarimirì, DDIMURO, and DJ set by Franza. Sunday, October 19 — 8:00 AM traditional market fair; 5:30 PM the Cuccagna, collective ritual narrated by Franco Patella; in the evening No Finger Nail, Salento Son, and Crifiu with guests Antonio Amato, Consuelo Alfieri, and Après La Classe.
