Edition 2025 — Fiera dell'Aglio
In 2025, the Fiera dell'Aglio di Vessalico once again celebrated Vessalico garlic, a Slow Food Presidium from the Arroscia Valley, on July 2nd, featuring producer stalls, typical product stands, tastings, and cooking shows, renewing a tradition documented since 1760.
The 2025 edition of the Fiera dell'Aglio di Vessalico confirmed the charm of one of Liguria's oldest fairs. The village in the Arroscia Valley came alive with stalls of producers and typical products, tastings, and cooking shows dedicated to Vessalico garlic, a Slow Food Presidium. Thousands of visitors came to the small town in the Imperia province to buy the characteristic braids and rediscover a product that tells centuries of peasant culture from the Ligurian hinterland.
