Edition 2025 — Ficattola Festival

In autumn 2025, the Ficattola Festival returned, as it does every year, to the MCL Club in San Vincenzo a Torri (Scandicci, Florence) with its series of Sundays dedicated to the most beloved fried treat of the Florentine tradition. Club volunteers served simple, crispy, and fragrant ficattole, along with versions stuffed with cured meats and cheeses and the delicious sweet Nutella variant, in a village festival atmosphere defined by conviviality.

The 2025 autumn edition of the Ficattola Festival took place at the MCL Club in San Vincenzo a Torri, in the municipality of Scandicci, reviving the same gastronomic tradition that enlivens the hamlet in spring over several Sundays between September and October.

From the early afternoon, volunteers fried the ficattole, to be enjoyed plain or stuffed with ham, fontina cheese, and oregano, without forgetting the famous sweet "nutellina". Shared tables and a village atmosphere confirmed the success of a festival that has been a reference point for the local community for over forty years.
