Edition 2025 — Arancino Festival

The 22nd edition of the Ficarazzi Arancino Festival took place from Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, Aci Castello, with evening openings from 7:00 PM. Four days of arancini in all varieties—from classic ragù and butter to pistachio, mushroom, chicken, eggplant, squid ink, and even chocolate—accompanied by the September Fair, a funfair, and music, folklore, and children's entertainment.

The 2025 edition

The 22nd edition of the Ficarazzi Arancino Festival was held from September 11 to 14, 2025, in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, Aci Castello, with evening openings starting at 7:00 PM. For four evenings, the village came alive with stalls dedicated to the arancino, offered in numerous varieties, from the traditional ragù and butter to more creative versions with pistachio, mushrooms, chicken, eggplant, pesto, and squid ink, as well as vegetarian and sweet options.

Alongside the gastronomy, the 2025 edition featured the traditional September Fair, a large funfair, and a rich calendar of live music performances, folklore exhibitions, and children's entertainment, confirming the festival as one of the most popular events in the province of Catania.
