Edition 2025 — FèXtra

The fifth edition of FèXtra took place in Mattinata from October 10 to 19, 2025, with the theme 'The Olive Tree, Root of Peace,' chosen for the Jubilee year. Ten days of widespread events celebrated the extra virgin olive oil of the Gargano through mills, olive groves, squares, and concerts, featuring performances by Gegè Telesforo and the Notte della Taranta Popular Orchestra.

FèXtra 2025 — 'The Olive Tree, Root of Peace'

The fifth edition of FèXtra animated Mattinata from October 10 to 19, 2025, choosing the theme 'The Olive Tree, Root of Peace' in harmony with the Jubilee year. The inauguration was held on October 10 at the Agriturismo Giorgio.

Among the most anticipated musical moments were the opening dinner-concert with Gegè Telesforo and the grand evening on October 17 with the Notte della Taranta Popular Orchestra; the closing on October 19 was entrusted to the historic group 'I Sammecalere' and a community dinner in the square. There was also space for theater with the performance 'Radici di ulivo' (Olive Roots) by Raffaele Niro.

The program featured mill tours and olive harvesting, archaeological excursions to the necropolis of Monte Saraceno, trekking, e-bike tours, and yoga among the olive trees, 'Colto e mangiato' (Picked and Eaten) workshops, the FèXtra Drink and FèXtra Restaurant contests, and activities by the FèXtra School. On October 18, Mattinata hosted a meeting of the national 'Città dell'Olio' association with mayors of UNESCO sites in Puglia and a twinning ceremony with Assisi.
