Edition 2025 — Ferragosto Rosetano
The 2025 Assunta Festival
The 2025 edition of the patronal festivities in Roseto degli Abruzzi was a great public success, with the seafront crowded for three evenings of music and tradition. The evenings leading up to the main event featured the band "Le Ombre" led by Silvio Brocco, performing classics from the 60s and 70s — for which Mayor Mario Nugnes presented him with the Silver Rose for his "Emozioni in Musica" festival — and the group "Fuori Frequenza", appreciated by audiences of all ages.
August 15th was the religious heart of the festival: the solemn procession starting at 5 PM from the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, accompanied by the band, and the procession at sea with the laying of the floral wreath. In the evening, from 9:30 PM, a tribute to the greatest hits of Adriano Celentano was followed by the traditional midnight fireworks display launched from the pier, the "grand finale" that closed the festival in a magical atmosphere.
