Edition 2025 — Nepi Patronal Festivities
Nepi 2025: five days of celebration for Tolomeo and Romano
From August 21 to 25, 2025, the historic center of Nepi, in the province of Viterbo, experienced its most heartfelt festival. On August 21, it was the turn of the youth with the Tutto in una notte contest, featuring sports and live music; on August 22, the festivities officially opened with the traditional San Romano concert by the Enrico Gai Music Band in Piazza del Comune.
On August 23, the evening procession in honor of the patrons, with Bishop Marco Salvi, crossed the streets of the village, followed in the evening by cabaret shows and the tombola draw. On August 24, the liturgical day of the patrons, after the solemn mass, Giuliano Palma took the stage, while the little ones enjoyed a magic show. On August 25, the final day combined a procession accompanied by the Hakuna Matata percussion group, a concert by L'Orchestraccia, and the final pyrotechnic show.
The calendar continued until August 31 with tribute concerts, children's entertainment, a fashion show, and a singing competition for young people. The municipal administration, the Pro Loco, and local associations defined the edition as a successful balance between tradition and innovation, with lights and stalls dressing the historic center for the entire duration of the festival.
