Festivities in Honor of Maria Santissima di Loreto

The 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Fontana Liri renewed a tradition that has accompanied this town in the province of Frosinone for over three centuries. The religious calendar opened on June 19 with the Marian month at the Valle Curzio sanctuary and concluded on August 3 with the return of the sacred image; secular festivities took place between July 19 and August 2 in Piazza G. Marconi.

The festival committee was chaired by Father Pasqualino Porretta, with Jessica Gabriele as head of the committee and a board of eight members. In 2025, the most attended moment was once again the night-time torchlight procession, with the three parades reuniting along the country paths, followed on Saturday by the solemn procession with the statue carried on shoulders to the parish church.

Evenings in the square alternated between concerts, family entertainment, and gastronomic events, confirming the festival as the main social gathering of the summer in Fontana Liri.
